“Moments-monuments” – sculptures are made of burnt matches from the head to the ground, or sought to do so. In contrast to everyday life, where the match burns for a short time and remains a log, artistic practice allows it to be realized in full, burn until the end, overcome the specified shape and show a fragile natural elegance. Black curve-beamed compositions are formed in the process of continuous burning, when a lighted match join the other. As part of “Microterritory” sculptures are placed throughout the exhibition space and appear even on the floor. It is enough to touch them, to break down and destroy. And black powder spots will appear under your feet. Spectators while staying in physical contact with the works or noticing the result of someone careless movements, realize the fragility of art and the necessity to “look down” and to be mindful of space and culture.
